Old Mexican Inn Restaurant and Cantina in Corsicana

You can always tell a good Mexican Restaurant if you order spinach enchiladas.... just saying... they have it down. Nice place, nice people and I'm pretty sure my cousin eats ever meal there! I have only been there once but would definitely recommend to anyone headed to or through Corsicana!

Hadn't been in a while. The chips were hot, the orange dip was awesome!! My husband and I shared beef/chicken fajitas; they were great. We had leftovers to bring home. I tried the pomegranate margarita and my husband had the strawberry (mine was the best). Our server, Miguel was right there to take care of us, we never lacked for anything.

Must try the new Fiesta Pop-arita drink!!!Relaxing atmosphere & decent servers. I would advise you not to order the refried beans.

Family owned and it is the best in Corsicana.I have been eating there since I was a kid. Anytime I come to town we try to get together there. Highly Reccomended

Been going here since the late 60s. Always great food and Wednesday's is "cheap day" as we call it around here as their special is cheese or beef enchiladas less than $5. OMI is famous for their "secret recipe" orange dip and their fajitas are out-of-this-world! Great atmosphere and great food. You won't be disappointed!

First time there the good is great

Absolutely nothing bad to say,the wait wasn't too bad,they didn't skip me over even though I was by myself, the waitress was very attentive, they don't have sweet tea, but sometimes you just have to settle. The food came out a bit later than I had figured,but the waitress noticed there was an issue with it before she brought it out and had it remade to perfection.

Food and service is great and drinks are the bomb

We tried it based on all the great reviews. We didn’t see that. The service was slow. The food is too cheesy and more like frozen Mexican food. We won’t be back.

Unseasoned beef in the tacos, fajitas are frozen then cooked, and tortillas are not homemade. If they put the effort they put in the tortillas as they do the beans I think it would be a little better. There are better places in Corsicana in my opinion. I'd go back if I was drinking.

OMI is family owned & has a friendly atmosphere for everyone, my friends & family has been eating here for over 40 years, every Wednesday especially, so if you want really good Mexican food you need to eat here.

One of my favorite tex-mex restaurants. Food is always great and the service is attentive. Known for it's orange dip, the only complaint is they don't have a giant bowl of it on the table so I don't have to keep bothering the waitstaff for more! Lol!

The mango margarita and chicken enchiladas were so amazing! Our waiter was very friendly and professional. I will definitely have to come back and try a different dish.

Used to be good food at good prices... then new mgmt came along and it's small portions for high dollar and the food isn't as good as it once was.

The Orange dip was surprisingly delicious and the portions are generous. Staff is very attentive and the way hardly a wait in regards to meal prep and delivery. Wonderful food!

This was my second time eating here, first time it was great this time they droppd the ball. My food was salty the beans tasted scorched. After trying to eat a few bites I asked for the manager I was told he was to busy. Wow to busy for a paying customer. Thanks 15 bucks wasted. I guess Ipaid for them to throw their food away. I want be back. Maybe it's because I'm Black. This is what I didn't eat and shouldn't have had to pay for this SALTY meal IJS

On my way from Huntsville back to Fort Worth and stopped here for dinner. Was awesome food and better tasting than the typical TexMex. Salsa was very flavorful and has a nice kick. For dinner had the Tres Amigos enchiladas. Fantastic. Service was great. Will be back again.

I had the enchilada lunch special. It was delicious, best lunch I've had in a while. I love the orange sauce. The waitress was very nice. I will be back.

Local favorite is packed nearly every night, good, fun and relaxed atmosphere! Menu still has a lot of original recipes back when the place opened in 1940's, with their specialty of cheese or beef enchiladas served daily, but on Wednesday they're on special. You may want to call way ahead if you're planning to eat there Wednesday evening, as well as Friday and Saturday nights. If you don't, expect to wait a little while for a seat.OMI also serves some of the best fajitas in town! The margaritas are great (frozen or on the rocks) and you can order the standard way or check out their specialty ones. The beer is cold and they have domestic and many of your favorite imports on hand. Don't forget to dive into the chips and their signature orange dip (an old family recipe) served while they prepare your meal. Give it a try, you might just run into someone you know or even a celebrity from time-to-time ... you never know, just come out, relax and have a good time!

I used to love this place. The food made my husband sick both times I took him. Service not so great either. Just not the OMI I remember growing up. We won't return.

Our first time there and the food was so good. They were very busy but they checked on us often and our food came out timely and was delicious! Waitress was great!

This place has the best local Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is not too loud inside the restaurant. The wait staff and employees have always been so helpful and courteous at this location. Many times we have been here and the actual owner has been there working the register. He is super nice!

If you are watching your salt intake, this is the place for you. I've never had to add salt to salsa before! Food was fresh and cooked well and dishes with cheese or bacon (charro beans!) had some good flavor. Chips and salsa had no flavor at all. Ho hum margarita.

Sat down and was completely ignored, 20mins and every other table was waited on. We did get our drinks and chips and then never once did our waitress look our way. Three table next to us recieved full service. We politely went to the register and offered to pay for our drinks. Mentioned to mgr that over 20mins and every table but ours was serviced and there were only 6 tables at the time mind you. He did not seem concerned in the least, said we didn't owe anything and thanked us.

Great casual dining and good service. The Fajita salad with chicken is good and about too much to eat at one sitting. I really enjoyed their salsa and chips, and the orange sauce is flavorful and of a kind.

We have been coming here for 34 years! Had our first date in the corner circle seat. We have celebrated birthday's, graduations and today our 34th wedding anniversary. It will always be our special place. The food and service are always on point!

The food at Old Mexican Inn, Corsicana TX is amazing! My sister in law recommended the Shrimp Enchiladas and Guacamole. It was the best guacamole I have ever eaten anywhere! I chose the red sauce for my Shrimp Enchiladas. Delicious, melt in your mouth, and wonderfully seasoned! The best!

One of my most favorite restaurants in the state! I've been coming here since a small boy. Friendly service, great food, excellent prices! Why are you not here?!
